Learn about the Consumer Protection Act Application Form Toll Free Number Complaint Process

Introduction

The Consumer Protection Act, 19 is a social law for the public interest. It defines the rights of consumers and provides incentives to protect the rights of consumers. Quasi-judicial mechanisms have been set up at every district, state and national level to provide quick and immediate cost-effective redressal of consumer disputes. It provides a three-tier structure of National Commission, State Commission and District Commission for speedy resolution of consumer disputes.


Under this Act, 13th Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Gujarat State was formed and then District Commissions were formed. At present there are 6 district commissions working in the state of Gujarat. Out of these 6 district commissions, 12 work closely with the nearest district commission.
Complaint’ means, for the purpose of obtaining any relief provided by or under the Consumer Protection Act, 18, the plaintiff has made any of the following allegations in writing.


Any merchant or service provider has adopted any unfair trade practices or controlled trade practices.
Goods purchased or agreed to be purchased by oneself are one or more defective.
The service rented or received or agreed to be rented or rented is defective in any matter.
The merchant or the person providing the occasional service for the goods mentioned in the complaint or for the service such as ...


Determined by or under any law in force at that time
In any packet of goods or as indicated on the goods
Displayed a price list by or under any law in force at that time
The parties have taken a higher price than agreed between the parties.
When given to people for sale, goods that are dangerous to life and safety, -
In violation of any law applicable at the time or under it, any standards relating to the safety of goods that need to be complied with;


The merchant may know with due care if the goods offered in such a way, are unsafe for the people;


When used, the life and safety of the people may be endangered or likely to be endangered by the service provider who may know with due care that such person, life and safety may be endangered.

Who can be called a 'plaintiff'?

Customer; Or
Any voluntary consumer association registered under the Companies Act, 19 (1st of 19) or any other law in force at that time; Or
Central Government or State Government
When there are close customers with an identical interest number, one or more customers;
In case of death of the customer, his legal heir or representative, who has complained.

Government of the District Commission
Subject to the other provisions of this Act, the District Commission shall have the power to lodge a complaint with the District Commission when the value of the goods and services and compensation sought does not exceed Rs. 20 lakhs.
In the District Commission, under whose jurisdiction -
When the opposing party or party is more than one, each of the opposing parties must be living and doing business at the time of filing the complaint or having a branch office or doing personal work for personal gain, within the local limits.


When there is more than one opposing party, any opposing party who is actually and voluntarily at the time of filing the complaint or is running a business or has a branch office or is working for personal gain, must file the complaint within the local limits.
But in either case the District Commission should have given permission or accepted the complaint in such a way that the opposing party does not live or do business or has no branch office or work for personal gain; Or
If the cause of the claim arises in whole or in part, it must be filed within the local area.


Government of the State Commission
Subject to the other provisions of this Act, the State Government shall have the following Government. -
If the value of the goods or services and compensation is sought, to lodge a complaint when its value is not more than twenty lakh rupees, but not more than one crore,
To file appeals against the orders of the District Commission within the State.
Disposal before any District Commission within the State when the State Government feels that such District Commission has exercised a power not vested in it by law or has not exercised the power vested in it in such manner or has acted illegally or committed serious misconduct using its own power. Request a record of any outstanding customer disputes that have arisen or have been resolved and make appropriate orders.

How to get Duplicate Adhar card from www.uidai.gov.in.

       Delhi. Aadhaar card is a very important document in our country. It is often demanded as an identity card in many places. If your Aadhaar card is lost somewhere, you may face many problems. To avoid this problem, you need to get another Aadhaar card (Aadhaar reprint). You do not have to go anywhere for this and you can get another support just by sitting at home. You only have to spend Rs 50 for this.

The process of applying for online support



  • First go to the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) website www.uidai.gov.in.
  • Click on the Order Aadhaar Reprint (Pilot Basis) option at the bottom under the Aadhaar Services section here. This will open a new tab.
  • Now enter your Aadhaar number / Virtual ID and security code here under the Personal Details section.
  • After providing this information, click on Send OTP button. An OTP will come to your mobile.
  • If your mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar database then click on the relevant option given against Request OTP. Selecting this option will prompt you for your mobile number. Enter it and click on the Send OTP button.
  • Apart from these two options you can also use the TOTP option. Your phone must have the m-Aadhaar application to use it.
  • Now enter the OTP or TOTP sent to your mobile and click on the submit button after clicking against the terms and conditions.
  • You will be notified of your support details after submitting the OTP. After verifying it, click on Make Payment button.
  • After doing this you will be diverted to the payment gateway. Here you can pay Rs 50 (including GST and postal charges) using credit card, debit card, net banking and UPI.
  • You will be shown acknowledgment status after successful payment. In addition, you can also download the enrollment slip. A service request number will also be sent to your mobile.
  • UIDAI will print the base and deliver to Indian Post within 5 days after the entire process is completed. The postal department will then deliver it to your home by speed post.

Home scheme umbrella / shade scheme for fruit and vegetable sellers in Gujarat

Umbrella / Shed Scheme for Fruit and Vegetable Vendors in Gujarat: A scheme to provide free umbrella / shade to small vendors to prevent spoilage of fruits and vegetables.

    The scheme will provide umbrellas to vendors of haat bazaars, lorries of state fruits, vegetables, flowers and perishable agricultural products by the side of the road. In this scheme, one adult per family (i.e. one umbrella per ration card) will be entitled to one adult.
After applying online application in i-farmer portal, get the instrument paper shown in the application along with the print of the application, sign / thumb print which should be submitted to the horticulture office of that district within the stipulated time. The pre-approval will be given by the district office within the target limits after verifying the eligibility of the applicant on the basis of the application received from the applicant and the instrumental papers. The selected applicant will have to get the umbrella from the authorized seller of the vacated company within the stipulated time.
         The scheme will provide free umbrellas to hawkers with lorries selling fruits, vegetables, flowers and perishable agricultural products of the state on the road side, selling in the haat bazaar. માં In this scheme one adult per family (i.e. one umbrella per ration card) will be entitled to one adult. applicatiion After applying online in i-farmer portal, get the print of the application, sign / thumb print along with the instrumental papers shown in the application which should be submitted to the horticulture office of that district within the prescribed time limit. applicatiion Prior approval will be given from the district office within the target limit after checking the eligibility of the applicant based on the application received from the applicant and instrumental papers.  ​​The selected applicant from the authorized seller of the empanelted company will have to get the umbrella within the stipulated time.

How to Register for COVID 19 Training IGOT Certificate

Step 1: Firstly Open the IGOT Portal (Link Below) or Download the Diksha App via play store.

Step 2: Select the course you are interested in and click on the launch course.

Step 3: Click on Join Training. Now click on the Register button and enter your details.

Step 4: Now enter the OTP and select Board, Medium, class, subject and click on the submit button.

Step 5: Now click on “start course” and you will get a certificate at the end of course.
